The Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium is located in the Indian city of Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra. This is a new stadium built in the year 2008 replacing the old Vidarbha C. A. Stadium. The stadium acts as the home venue for the VIdarbha & the Central Zone cricket teams for the Ranji Trophy & the Duleep Trophy respectively. Built over 33 acres of land, the Vidarbha Stadium has a capacity of 45,000 people.
The first test match on this newly built cricket stadium was held on 6th November, 2008 & the match was played between India & Australia. The first ODI was held 2009 & was played by the same two teams. Only one T20I has been played on this ground so far which was played between India & Sri Lanka in 2009. This stadium hosted four matches of the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
