University Oval is a sports ground located in Dunedin, New Zealand. Earlier the ground was owned by the University of Otago. But after extensive redevelopment of the ground in the early 2000s, the ownership was transferred to the city council. The ground is the home venue for the Otago Cricket Council as well as the Otago Rugby team. The university Oval is a small cricket ground with a capacity of only 6,000 spectators.

The first test match on this ground was played in 2008 between New Zealand & Bangladesh. Only one ODI has been played on this ground so far & that was played in the year 2010 between the same two teams.

The University Oval ground is best known as the ground where the Umpire Decision Review system was first used. It was used in a series between New Zealand & Pakistan.
