Arun Jaitley Stadium (aka Feroz Shah Kotla) is a cricket stadium situated in Delhi, India. The ground is well-known in the cricket fraternity as the ground where Anil Kumble took all the 10 wickets in an innings against Pakistan in 1999. The Firoz Shah Kotla ground was built in 1883 & the first match at the ground was played in 1948 between India & West Indies. The first ODI was played in 1982 between India & Sri Lanka. The stadium is run by Delhi Districts Cricket Association (DDCA).
The Arun Jaitley ground currently has a capacity of 48,000. Apart from the Kumble record, many other cricketing histories were made on this ground. This is the ground when Sunil Gavaskar equaled Sir Don Bradman's record of 29 centuries in test cricket. In 2005-06 Sachin Tendulker broke Gavaskar's record of most centuries in test cricket when he scored his 35th century here at the Firoz Shah Kotla.
