It had been known earlier by the names of Springbok Park, Chevrolet Park, Goodyear Park etc. From 2007-08 it is known as OUTsurance Oval, again, because of sponsorship rights. Built in 1989, the OUTsurance Oval is home to the Eagles cricket team. Currently the ground has a capacity of 20,000 people & it is used to host all kinds of cricket matches. The first test match on this ground was played in 1999 between South Africa & Zimbabwe. The first ODI was played in 1992 between South Africa & India. First T20 match on this ground was played as recently as 2010 between South Africa & Zimbabwe. On this ground Colin Ingram scored his first century on his debut match for South Africa. This is also the ground where Alan Donald became the first South African to claim 300 test wickets.
