Canada Cricket Schedule
The Canadian National Cricket team currently takes part only in ODIs & first-class games. It was granted membership of the ICC in the year 1968. It is currently an associate member of ICC sanctioned to play ODIs & first-class matches. The country have already participated in four world cups, having registered their first ever appearance in the tournament in the year 1979. Recently they were led in the 2011 world cup by their captain Ashish Bagai. The team coach for the tournament was Pubudu Dassanayeke.
Their recent performance in the 2011 World Cup was not so good & team was knocked out in the very first round winning only one of their six matches overall. Other than that the team has won the ICC Americas Championship three times in 2000, 2004, & 2010. But their performance in most other first-class tournaments has been rather dismal.
Ashish Bagai is the batsman to have scored the most amounts of runs for the team, scoring 1062 runs so far at an average of 30.34 while Sunil Dhaniram is the highest wicket taker of the team. He has taken 40 wickets so far.
