South Africa and Australia has been great cricketing rivals for decades now. Not only do they possess the firepower and bench strength to outsmart each other in the cricket field, but also the assurance of presenting one of the most delightful cricketing extravaganzas to millions of audiences and viewers all round the world. This October, these two stalwart teams will again face off each other in all forms of the game, which includes Test Matches, One Day Internationals and T20 Games. South Africa vs Australia 2011 is one of the most anticipated bilateral competitions of this year. The tour kick starts on October 13, 2011.

The entire series is a part of the innovative and exciting concept of the International Cricket Council, i.e., the Future Tour Program. Australia will begin its tour to South Africa with a couple of Twenty20 International matches. The first match will be held at Cape Town, South Africa, on October 13, 2011. The match is slated to begin at 18:00 hour local time. It will be a D/N affair. On the other hand, the second Twenty20 match will be played at Johannesburg on October 16 from 14:30 hour onward.

After the successful completion of the two match Twenty20 series, Australia will face the Proteas in the 50 over format of the game. Both teams will engage in a 3-match One Day Series that is guaranteed to provide viewers with unadulterated and uninhibited cricketing action. The first game will be played at Centurion, and is a D/N match. The remaining two matches will take place at Port Elizabeth and Durban respectively. Australia is the current No. 1 team in the world according to ICC Cricket rating; hence, the South African Team must dish out something extraordinary to displace the Aussies from their current top position.

After the end of the One Day Series on October 28, 2011, the last leg of the South Africa vs Australia 2011 tour will feature two Test Matches. The first Test Match will begin at Cape Town from November 9, 2011. The second and final Test Match will be played at Johannesburg from the November 17, 2011 from 10:00 hours onwards. Both the teams have a balanced and well-trained unit of players. Hence, the competition will be at par. It will be important to see whether Australia can continue their dominance, or whether South Africa emerges champion this time.
