The Ashes 2015 will mark Australia’s tour to England the coming year. The historical series is about to start in the middle quarter of 2015 and would be hosted by England once again, after 2013. The Ashes England V Australia 2015 venues were announced in the year 2011 & the schedule for the matches was declared on May 12, this year.

With the 2015 series, the 4-year ashes cycle in England would be forwarded to two years. Likewise, the series ion Down Under were forwarded by a year starting with 2013-14 series. The rescheduling was done to bypass clashes with World Cup 2015 that would be held at Australia & New Zealand.  

The 2015 Ashes Australia V England series will commence from July 8, 2015. The match would conclude on July 12. It would be hosted at Cardiff based SWALEC stadium. There is a 3 day gap till the 2nd match which is scheduled for July 16th, 2015. The match would be played at the famous London based Lord’s stadium. Michael Clarke is the captain of the Australian Test cricket team while the English Test cricket squad is led by Alastair Cook. 

There would be 5 Test matches between England and Australia in the 2015 Ashes series. There is a great 8 day gap between the finalization of the 2nd Test and commencement of the 3rd. the 3rd match is to be hosted at Birmingham based Edgbaston ground. The final and 5th Test of England V Australia Ashes 2015 is slated to be held on 20th August and the match would be hosted by London based the Oval. The Ashes series would conclude on August 24th. 

Ashes matches have always been a treat to watch given the stellar power play from the two 2 titan arch rivals. England is definitely looking forward for 4th Ashes home triumph after 2005, 2009 & 2013. On the other hand, the Baggy Greens are always ready for a stupendous fight and can any day twist the match to their way. However, the English team will definitely have an upper hand in 2015 Ashes as the English players would be playing in their home ground only. Home crowd support is a huge factor for any team as the loud cheer from the enthusiastic fans does a lot to boost up the winning spirit of the players. The Aussies are surely going to miss out on the home crowd factor the upcoming Ashes.
