Each and every cricket fan wants to remain updated about the tournaments in which his/ her team is going to participate in near future. That’s why the governing body of cricket, ICC, discloses a calendar every year that includes all the fixtures scheduled to be played that year. The next year i.e. 2021 will be an interesting one from cricketing point of view. It promises to have some high standard cricket on display. The first big tournament that is going to be organized in 2021 is Asia Cup which will take place in February. After that, we will switch into the shortest format of the game as two of the biggest T20 tournaments i.e. the T20 World Cup and the IPL will be played in the next two months. Then, there will be a few bilateral series after which another big tournament in the form of Big Bash League will arrive in December. The top franchise teams from all over the world will take on each other in that competition. The year will end with a couple of big teams touring down under i.e. South Africa in November and India in December.
The Indian team will be touring a lot next year. They will make their way to New Zealand in the earlier parts of the year and then, after the Indian Premier League, they will be on another away tour in July i.e. the England tour. But, the biggest challenge for them will come towards the end of the year when they tour Australia.
