  1. JP Duminy (1934 Runs)

JP Duminy was the former left-handed South African all-rounder who liked to bat in the middle order and bowled right-arm off break. He is at the top position for hitting the most runs in a T20 international for South Africa. He made his debut in a T20 international for South Africa in the match against Bangladesh at Newlands on Sep 15 in 2007, where he struck 36 runs. Since his debut, he has played 81 T20 internationals and added 1934 runs from his 75 innings at the strike rate of 126.24. He has also taken 21 wickets in his T20I career.

Quinton de Kock is a wicket-keeper batsman in the South Africa cricket team and has scored 1827 runs which are the 2nd most runs in a T20 international for South Africa. He is a left-handed batsman who loves to open for his team and has played 61 T20I matches. He made his debut in the T20 international against New Zealand at Kingsmead on Dec 21, 2012, where he scored unbeaten 28 runs. Since his debut, he has contributed in 61 matches and scored at the strike rate of 135.03.

One more left-handed South African batter who comes at the 3rd position for hitting the most runs in T20I for South Africa. He is known for his aggressive batting style and his strike rate of 140.63 shows that he is one of the power hitters in the world. He started his career in the T20 international against West Indies at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on May 20, 2010, where he struck 33 runs. Since his debut. He has played 95 T20I matches and also struck a century and 4 fifties.

He is one of the best batsmen in the world who can play the shot in any direction and that is why he is called Mr. 360 degree. He is a former right-handed batsman who has made 1672 runs from his 74 innings in T20 international and comes at the number 4th position for hitting the most runs in T20 for South Africa. He made his debut in the T20I against Australia at The Wanderers Stadium, Feb 24, 2006.

Faf du Plessis, the former captain of South Africa, comes at the number 5th position for most runs in T20I for South Africa. He made his debut in T20 international matches against England at Riverside Ground, Sep 08, 2012, where he could make only 4 runs. Since his debut, he has contributed in 47 T20 international matches and made runs at a strike rate of 134.24.
