In the T20 format, batsmen have dominated the opposition’s bowler many times and caused damage on the ground. That is why the T20 cricket concept has been successful in attracting new audiences since its beginning.
Yuvraj Singh has struck the fastest 50 in the T20I from just 12 balls and also six 6’s in an over of England pacer, Stuart Board at the Durban in 2007. There are many batsmen who have done this miracle of making the fastest 50. Let’s have a look at some of the fastest 50s in the T20I.

Yuvraj Singh (off 12 balls)
Yuvraj Singh, an Indian left-handed all-rounder, struck the first fastest 50 in T20 international matches against England at Kingsmead, Durban on 19th September 2007. It includes his six 6s in an over, another record for him. He batted so well at the strike rate of 362.50 in that match and scored 58 runs from 16 balls. He is a versatile player who made his T20I debut in the match against Scotland at Kingsmead on Sep 13, 2007. He became popular very soon in the shortest form of the game after hitting the six 6s in a row in T20 World Cup 2007.
Mirza Ahsan (off 13 balls)
Mirza Ahsan is the right-handed batsman of Austria who has hit the 2nd fastest 50 in T20I. Mirza has not played more matches but his strike rate of 228.35 is fabulous. He has made 153 runs with an average of 51.0 from his 7 innings in T20I cricket.
Colin Munro (off 14 balls)
There are many good all-rounders in New Zealand, and Colin Munro is one of them. Munro has struck the 3rd fastest 50 in T20I from just 14 balls in the match against Sri Lanka at Eden Park in 2016. His outstanding unbeaten inning of 50 runs included 7 sixes and 1 four. He made his T20I debut against South Africa at Kingsmead on Dec 21, 2012. He can play at the middle order as well as open as a power hitter for New Zealand.
Faisal Khan (off 15 balls)
Faisal Khan, right-handed batsman of Saudi Arabia has bashed the 4th fastest 50 in T20 International from just 15 balls against Kuwait in 2019. He struck not out 83 runs from just 27 balls with seven 6s and seven 4s. He played his first T20I against Bahrain on 20 Jan 2019 and has contributed 206 runs from 7 innings.
Shai Hope (off 16 balls)
Shai Hope is a wicket-keeping batsman in the West Indies cricket team and he made his debut in T20I against New Zealand at Saxton Oval on Dec 29, 2017. He has scored the 5th fastest fifty in T20I against Bangladesh at Sylhet Stadium in 2018. Since his debut in T20I, he has appeared in 13 T20 matches and scored 238 runs from his 11 innings at the strike rate of 136.0 and an average of 21.64. He has added 55 runs as his best score in the T20I.
