Defending world champions West Indies have picked the line-up to compete in October and November's Twenty20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. To make up for a six-year absence, West Indies welcomed experienced fast bowler Ravi Rampaul to the lineup. After playing his last T20 match versus Sri Lanka in 2015, Rampaul is back to strengthen a strong roster that will aim for a record third title for West Indies. He has a wealth of expertise in the sport of bowling. With his wicket-taking abilities, he will improve the squad's possibilities in the power play, middle overs, and death overs.
Roston Chase is yet another significant name in the squad, getting his first-ever T20I call-up mainly attributable to his performance in the CPL. In T20 cricket, Roston Chase has proven himself to be a formidable opponent. His dot ball percentage is very low that allows him to stretch innings together while hitting at a high strike rate. He'll be a great counterpoint for the team's dynamic talents.
There will be numerous T20 players on the field for the defending champions of the game. A number of unexpected selections were made by the Caribbean panel. In addition to Ravi Rampaul and Roston Chase, whose performances in the Caribbean Premier League have earned them a spot in the line up. Andre Fletcher and Lendl Simmons have been selected to display their big plays at the top of the order, as well as Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, and Chris Gayle.
CPL and IPL player Narine has played for West Indies in the past, but he hasn't played for them since 2019. So, he is not selected in the playing squad for the T20 World Cup 2021. There is just one skilled spin bowler in the lineup without Narine, and that's Hayden Walsh Jr. Fabian Allen, and Chase, 2 finger spin bowling all-rounders will aid him. Braithwaite, who hit consecutive sixes to Stokes in the final game of 2016 and got the victory for his team, was also not considered for the T20 World Cup 2021.
To his surprise, Dwayne Bravo, who had been out since September 4 because of a groin ailment, has been authorized to perform in the World Cup. It was announced in December 2019 that Bravo would be returning to T20I cricket to team up with Kieran Pollard in pursuit of another global crown.

West Indies is positioned in Group 1. Since there are so many dangerous teams in this group, it has been dubbed “The Group of Death”. West Indies, Australia, England, and South Africa make up Group 1. Particularly exciting and nerve-wracking matchups are predicted in this group. This year's defending champions, West Indies, are anticipated to continue their domination in the shorter format.
Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, and Chris Gayle are all T20 experts. Aside from that, their bowling unit continues to progress. West Indies weren't playing well before the World Cup, but now they're back in top form under Kieran Pollard's captaincy. In the T20 World Cup in 2021, they will pose a serious danger to every side in the tournament.
