243/5 Vs West Indies – 2018

The first highest team total of New Zealand in T20I is 243 runs against West Indies at Mount Maunganui on 3 Jan 2018. With the wonderful strikes of Colin Munro (104 off 53) and Guptill (63 off 38), NZ built their first highest T20I total. On the other hand, West Indies were bowled out at the low score of 124 runs in 16.3 overs. No batsmen except Andre Fletcher could stay longer on the pitch. Tim Southee and Trent Boult collapsed the half of the West Indies team and achieved a big win by 119 runs.

243/6 Vs Australia – 2018

After one month in the same year of 2018, New Zealand again showed its class and depth in their batting lineup and created another highest total in T20I of 243 runs for 6 against Australia at Auckland on 16 Feb 2018. Martin Guptill and Colin Munro gave a stunning start with 132 partnership for the 1st wicket. It was looking like a difficult target but Australian batsmen achieved the target very comfortably in just 18.5 overs. Australian opener Warner and Short started the chase very effectively that helped their team to accomplish the target very easily.

238/3 Vs West Indies – 2020

The 3rd highest team total of New Zealand in T20I came in the match against West Indies at Mount Maunganui on 29 Nov 2020. They made a big total of 238 runs while batting first in which Glenn Phillips struck a century (108 off 51). As a result of Glenn Phillips' spectacular performance, New Zealand won the match by 72 runs. A great bowling and fielding display complemented New Zealand's impressive batting performance, which saw them score their third-highest total ever in the format.

219/6 Vs India – 2019

The 4th highest team total of New Zealand came against India while India toured New Zealand on 6 Feb 2016. The New Zealand team was invited to bat first and they scored their 4th highest total of 219 runs. Indian batsmen on the other hand could not do much and surrendered in front of Kiwis bowlers. Tim Southee with 3 wickets for 17 runs broke the backbone of the Indian batting lineup and thus they won by a big margin of 80 runs.

219/7 Vs Australia – 2021

The 5th highest total of New Zealand came against Australia at Dunedin on 25 Feb 2021. While batting first, NZ opener Guptill along with Kane Williamson made a 131 partnership for 2nd wicket that helped them to put a big total of 219 on the scoreboard. Stoinis, Philippe, and Daniel Sams showed an excellent effort with the bat during the chasing but finally, the match went in the favor of New Zealand.
