The 3rd highest individual score in ODI while chasing is unbeaten 183 runs scored by Indian Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on 31 October 2005. Kumar Sangakkara played an awesome unbeaten inning of 132 runs from Sri Lanka’s side in the first inning that helped them to put a target of 299 runs for India. India lost Sachin Tendulkar very early then Mahendra Singh Dhoni at the number 3 position played an incredible knock of unbeaten 183 runs with ten 6s and fifteen 4s and got the target in 46.1 overs only.
For India, the highest individual score in ODI in the 2nd inning is 183 runs recorded by Virat Kohli then Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s unbeaten 183 runs at the second number, and Sachin Tendulkar comes at the number 3 position with his 175 runs in the history of the One Day International.
