The sub continental team overhauled the home side by a massive 126 runs in the first ODI match. However, the Caribbean team did not give up hope even a bit and came back strongly in the second ODI match of the series. In the match, West Indies batted first and posted a total of 232 runs on a pitch that assisted bowlers. Johnson, Bravo and Pollard were the chief contributors to this total. The chase for Pakistan was once looking good with one of their opening batsman, Nasir Jamshed bagging a half century.
