Test Schedule

Test matches are the oldest and the longest format of the game. The duration of one test match is 5 days. The red balls are used in this format of the game. The test matches are the only format of cricket which is not played under lights. However, in the recent times, there have been some discussions about organizing the day night test matches and use pink balls in them in order to increase the popularity of this format. The test matches came into existence more than 100 years ago. The first ever test match was played between England and Australia in 1877. The venue hosting that test match was Melbourne. Despite the emergence of T20s and ODIs, the test matches are still liked especially by those who are the true lovers of cricket. Following is the list of the test matches that are going to be played in near future.
