WTC Final 2023: The wait is finally over, and the blockbuster clash between India and Australia is all set to kick off in a couple of weeks. The final of the World Test Championship will take place at Kennington Oval in London between June 7 and 10. It will be the second edition of the World Test Championship after the first edition took place in 2021. India played New Zealand in the final of the first edition at Lord’s. On Friday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the cash prize, which will be distributed to every team that took part in the ongoing WTC cycle.
They also announced the prize money distributed to the winners and runners-up between India and Australia. Notably, the amount that will be given to every team is as equal as it was in the first edition. It was New Zealand that won the WTC 2021 by beating India by eight wickets. Thus, it will be the second chance for the Men in Blue to take home another ICC title. However, it won’t be easy as they will have to face Australia, which is well suited for the conditions in England.
