Batsmen record in T20 World Cup history (Current Squad)
The former Sri Lanka skipper, Mahela Jayawardene, has scored the most runs in the history of the T20 World Cup. In fact, two out of three top run-getters in history are Sri Lankan. That shows that Sri Lankan batsmen have always performed well on the big stage. Notably, Sri Lanka batted with almost the same set of batsmen in the last T20 World Cup as well. Thus, their batters know how to handle the pressure on the big stage.
