1. Ahmed Shehzad – 111 not out vs Bangladesh in 2014

Former Pakistani opener Ahmed Shehzad was the first ever cricketer to score a T20I century for Pakistan. It came against Bangladesh in March 2014 in Mirpur during the 2014 T20 World Cup. Batting first, Pakistan reached a challenging score of 190/5 in their 20 overs. Shehzad led the inning and scored a 58-ball unbeaten century. He made 111* off 62 with 10 fours and five sixes. In reply, Bangladesh scored only 140/7 and lost the game by 50 runs.

2. Mohammad Rizwan – 104 not out vs South Africa in 2021

Star wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan scored Pakistan’s second T20I century. It took almost five years to do so for Pakistan. Rizwan scored his maiden T20I century against South Africa in Lahore in February 2021. Batting first, Pakistan made 169/6 in their first inning. Rizwan scored an unbeaten hundred and made 104* off 64 balls, with six fours and seven sixes. South Africa looked good for most of their chase. But they ended at 166/6 and lost by just three runs.

3. Babar Azam – 122 runs vs South Africa in 2021

Babar scored the third T20I century for his country in April 2021. He made it against South Africa in Centurion, which came in a chase. South Africa scored a big total of 203/5 in their 20 overs, with Aiden Markram (63 off 31) and Janneman Malan (55 off 40) scoring half-centuries. It needed a good start for a chase, and that’s what both Mohammad Rizwan and Babar provided with a 197-run opening partnership. Rizwan made 73* off 47, while Babar scored 122 off just 59 balls, with 15 fours and four maximums. He scored the highest individual score for Pakistan. Thus, the Men in Green scored 205/1 in 18 overs and won the game by nine wickets.

4. Babar Azam – 110 not out vs England in 2022

The second century for Babar Azam came against England in September 2022 in Karachi, which also came in the chase. England scored a decent total of 199/5 in their first inning. It looked like a difficult target to chase, and Pakistan required a good opening stand, and that’s what they got. Both Babar and Mohammad Rizwan added 203 runs in 19.3 overs and won the game by 10 wickets. Rizwan made 88 not out off 51, while Babar scored 111 unbeaten off 66 balls, with 11 fours and five sixes.
