The SKNP are one of the six franchises in the domestic T20 tournament in the West Indies called the Caribbean Premier League. The St. Kitts-based franchise plays at their home ground in Warner Park, Basseterre. The franchise are the defending champions, having won the last season in 2021, beating Jamaica Tallawahs in the finals by 7 wickets.
They won their maiden CPL title last season under the captaincy of veteran West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. The coach of the team is the former Australian coach, who has also coached the BBL franchise Melboune Renegades, Simon Helmot. Having been knocked out of the league stage in 2020, the team came out strong last season and won their maiden championship.

After winning last season’s CPL title, the franchise has done a really good job in the 2022 draft. They have picked some more international stars to strengthen their team. However, they have also made a smart move by retaining the core group of players.
The franchise has retained Dwayne Bravo, Sherfane Rutherford, Evin Lewis, and Sheldon Cottrell. On the other hand, they have picked stars like Izharulhaq Naveed, Dewald Brevis and Andre Fletcher. These batters will give them more firepower in their batting lineup. SKNP has already dominated the draft with a few other exciting players. The team and the franchise will look to defend their title this year, so they need a strong team.

Dominic Drakes was exceptional with the ball last season for the franchise. He ended up as the third highest wicket-taker in the competition with 16 wickets in 11 matches. Fawad Ahmed also did well in the tournament, with 11 wickets in 10 games.
