SRH has made some good purchases in the recently concluded IPL 2023 auction. They picked Adil Rashid, Mayank Markande, and Akeal Hosein to strengthen their spin bowling.
5. T Natarajan
T Natarajan impressed everyone with his ability to bowl consistent yorkers in crunch situations. He established himself as a brilliant death bowlers with his stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has been struggling with injuries of late but was part of the team last season. Natarajan took 18 wickets in 2022 in just 11 games for SRH. The Orange Army will want him to bowl like he did last season, and he can be their ace pacer.
4. Washington Sundar
Indian spin-bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar has become a key member of the team since he joined the franchise in 2022. 3. Adil Rashid
Veteran English leg-spinner Adil Rashid will make his debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2023. He was picked by the franchise at a price of INR 2 crore. Rashid is among the top leg-spinners in Twenty20 cricket across the world and was one of the reasons for England winning the 2022 T20 World Cup. Rashid has taken 93 wickets at an economy rate of 7.42 in T20 internationals. He will certainly be an asset for SRH with his huge international experience.
2. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been with the franchise since the 2014 season. He is the leader of the pack in the bowling department. Over the seasons, Bhuvi has been phenomenal for the Orange Army and is only one of two players to win the “Orange Cap” twice, in 2014 and 2016. He is also India’s leading wicket-taker in T20Is in 2022. Thus, his current form is also good, and he will be a big player for SRH going forward in the next edition.
