The 100-ball competition in England will host its third edition. The Hundred 2023 will begin on August 1, when the defending champion Trent Rockets will face off against the former champion Southern Brave at Trent Bridge. It will be a 34-match tournament, with eight teams fighting for the title. After winning the inaugural season, Southern Brave couldn’t repeat the success of the last edition.
They finished seventh with only three wins in the tournament. However, they will look to do well in the third season to win their second title. This team represents the county clubs of Hampshire and Sussex and is based on the English city of Southampton. The Brave play their home matches at the Rose Bowl in Hampshire.
Southern Brave Complete Squad
The draft 2023 has changed the equations of many teams in The Hundred competition. Southern Brave have also made some good signings and released a few players who didn’t have great performances last time. James Vince will captain the side in the coming season, while Stephen Fleming is the head coach of the men’s team. English speedster Jofra Archer is the central contracted player in the team.
They have released the likes of Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis, and Paul Stirling, which are some big international players, especially in the shorter format. However, there are not many big names on the team, but the franchise has done a really good job of keeping the right player for the right job. Tim David, Devon Conway, and Finn Allen are the three overseas players in the squad. They have a squad of 14 match-winners for the coming season who can win the second title for them.

Southern Brave: Top Performers (Batting)
The batters failed to deliver consistently last season, which was the reason they ended up in 7th place. Alex Davies (155) and Ross Whiteley (150) were the top scorer with 190 runs. However, the franchise will hope that the batters can do well this season to help the team make some progress.
