RR: The Rajasthan Royals made the headlines when they became the inaugural season champions in 2008. They beat Chennai Super Kings to win the first ever IPL trophy and registered their names in the record books. Not many gave any chance to them as it was a completely inexperienced side. But now, with time, things have changed. RR is now among the most competitive sides in the IPL.
They ended up as runners-up in the 2022 season as well. But there are a few seasons when Rajasthan has failed badly. In this article, we will talk about the lowest IPL totals by Rajasthan Royals in the competition so far. Notably, they have been dismissed below 100 six times so far.

RR (81 all out) vs KKR in 2011
The third and second lowest totals for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League are registered against the same opponent. Both came against the Kolkata Knight Riders. The second lowest came in the 2011 season, in the 17th game of the tournament. KKR chose to bowl first after winning the toss. RR had a slow start, but they kept losing wickets. They were at 67/4, but from there they lost their next six wickets for just 14 runs.
The whole team got out for a score of 81 runs in 15.2 overs. Ashok Menaria was the top scorer with 21 runs. In response, KKR also struggled at the start and lost two wickets for 31 runs in seven overs. But it was not a big target to chase. Eventually, they chased down the target and made 85/2 in 13.5 overs and won by 8 wickets.
RR (58 all out) vs RCB in 2009
The lowest and most embarrassing total for Kolkata Knight Riders came against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2009 season. It was the 2nd game of the tournament in Cape town from the season that took place in South Africa. RCB won the toss and decided to bat first. They had a horrible start and lost three wickets for just 17 runs. Skipper Kevin Pietersen made 32 off 30, while Rahul Dravid scored 66 off 48 balls.
Apart from these two, none of the other batters reached the 10-run mark. RCB made 133/8 in their 20 overs. It looked like an easy target for Rajasthan to chase. But what happened next was more embarrassing. In reply, the whole Rajasthan batting order fell like a pack of cards. None of their batters could reach a significant score. RR got out for 58 runs in 15.1 overs and lost the game by 75 runs. Anil Kumble picked up 5/5 in that game.
