Peshawar Zalmi: Speaking of the competition, the Pakistan Super League is one of the most prominent in the cricket world right now. The PSL was established in 2016. It features six teams in a single edition. And Peshawar Zalmi is one of the most consistent teams in this competition. Only one team has appeared in the most finals.

And it is Peshawar Zalmi, who have played four PSL finals in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. 3. Peshawar Zalmi (206/8) vs Islamabad United in 2022

The third-highest total for the Peshawar Zalmi came in the 2022 season. It is registered against Islamabad United at the Lahore Cricket Stadium. Peshawar won the toss and chose to bat first. They got a good stat with Mohammad Haris scoring an 18-ball fifty. He made 70 off 32 balls, with 7 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Yasir Khan (35) and Shoaib Malik (38) also batted well in the middle.

Peshawar Zalmi registered their highest score in the 2021 PSL season. It was also the fourth-highest total in the league’s history. It came against Islamabad United at the Abu Dhabi Stadium. This game saw the most runs in one single PSL match. It started with Islamabad batting first. Islamabad registered the highest PSL total in that game. They reached 247/2 in their 50 overs with the help of a brilliant century from Usman Khawaja, who made 105 not out off 56 balls.

It was a big total to chase, and it needed an incredible effort to cross the line. But Peshawar lost their first two wickets early. But after that, they showed some resilience with Kamran Akmal (53) and skipper Shoaib Malik (68). They had some other good cameos in the lineup, but Peshawar fell short of the target by just 15 runs and made 232/6. Thus, their highest PSL total came in the losing cause.
