The schedule for the 2023 ODI World Cup is finally out, and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the complete fixture list for the upcoming marquee event. India will host the entire competition on its own for the very first time. It will see a total of ten teams compete against each other in the tournament, which will take place between October 5 and November 19.
Ten teams will include 1992 World Cup winner Pakistan, which has a pretty good track record in sub-continental conditions. Being an Asian team, they will have an edge and better knowledge of the conditions in India. The eight slots are filled after the Super League table, while the two teams will join after the conclusion of the 2023 World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe. The World Cup will be played in a round-robin format, just like the last edition in England in 2019.
