1. Steve Waugh (10 times) between 1985 to 2004
The third player with the joint-highest nineties in test cricket is the former Australia skipper Steve Waugh. He made his test debut against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in December 1985. He went on to lead the Australian side later and ended his career as one of the best batsmen of all time. Waugh also played his last game against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground in January 2004.
In his career, he played 168 matches in his 19-year-long career. He has scored a total of 10927 runs at an average of 51.06. Waugh has also scored 32 centuries and 50 half-centuries in his career.
