BBL: The next edition of the Big Bash League will start on December 16 with a match between Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars. Sean Abbott is in the fifth spot on the list. He has been part of the BBL since the very first season in 2011. Sean made his BBL debut for the Sydney Sixes and has represented the Sydney Thunder as well so far. He has played 94 games in total and has 125 wickets to his name, with 4 four-wicket hauls, including 1 five-wicket haul. His best bowling figure is 5/16.
4. Dan Christian (Four four-wicket hauls) in 121 matches
The veteran Australian all-rounder, Dan Christian, is fourth on the list with a total of four four-plus wickets in the BBL. He made his BBL debut in 2011 with the Brisbane Heat and has since played for three other teams: the Hobart Hurricanes, the Melbourne Renegades, and the Sydney Sixers. Christian has played 121 matches and has taken 89 wickets at an economy of 8.27. He has taken fifer and four-wicket hauls twice each.
3. Peter Siddle (Four four-wicket hauls) in 68 matches
The veteran pacer, Peter Siddle, is next on the list. He has taken four or more wickets in a BBL innings four times. Siddle has been part of the league since the 2014 season. He has played for the Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades so far. In his 68-match BBL career, he has taken 90 wickets at an economy rate of 7.41. 2. Kane Richardson (Five four-wicket hauls) in 90 matches
There are only two bowlers in the BBL who have taken four-wicket hauls five or more times. Kane Richardson is second on the list. He has been part of the league since its inception. Richardson has played for the Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades in the BBL. He has taken 117 wickets in 90 games at an economy rate of 7.87 with a best figure of 4/22. The pacer has also picked up four-wicket-hauls five times in the BBL.
1. Andrew Tye (Six four-wicket hauls) in 85 BBL matches
Andrew Tye tops the list of bowlers with four wickets or more in BBL history. The veteran pacer made his BBL debut in 2014 and has since played for the Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder. Tye has played 85 games and has picked up 118 wickets at an average and economy rate of 19.34 and 7.70, respectively, with the best figure of 5/23. He has taken four or more wickets six times in the BBL.
