5. Chris Gayle (8 Ducks) between 2013-2021*

Well, you will find Chris Gayle in almost every batting record. And he is also on this unwanted list. The left-hander has been part of the CPL since 2013 and has played for Jamaica Tallawahs and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Gayle has played 85 matches and has scored 2519 runs with four centuries at a strike rate of 133.13 and an average of 36.50. However, he has eight ducks to his name in his CPL career.

4. Nicholas Pooran (8 Ducks) between 2013-2021*

Next on the list is Nicholas Pooran, who has also been a part of CPL since its inception in 2013. In his CPL career, Pooran has played for the Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel. Overall, he has played 82 games and scored 1544 runs at an average and strike rate of 25.73 and 149.75, respectively. The left-hander has scored one century and seven half-centuries, along with eight ducks in his CPL career.

3. Sheldon Cottrell (8 Ducks) between 2013-2021*

Not just the batsmen, there are a few bowlers as well in this list. Normally, you can’t associate a bowler with scoring runs, but still, no bowler wants this unwanted record registered under his name. Sheldon Cottrell is third on the list. He has played a total of 65 CPL matches and has batted in 26 innings. With his bat, he hasn’t done anything much but has got out on duck eight times in total.

2. Sunil Narine (10 Ducks) between 2013-2021*

Sunil Narine has certainly improved his batting in the last few years, but earlier he was a miss or hit kind of batter with the approach of going after the bowling from the very first ball. But Narine has registered this record and is second on the list. Between 2013 and 2021, the all-rounder represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders. In his CPL career, he has played in 86 games and batted in 60 innings, scoring a total of 762 runs along with 10 ducks.

1. Lendl Simmons (11 CPL Ducks) between 2013-2021*

Well, no one would want to stay on top of this record as a cricketer. But someone needs to be there, and it is Lendl Simmons who holds the record for most ducks in the CPL. The right-hander has played 93 CPL matches since 2013. However, he has played for five teams so far: Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, St Lucia Stars, and Trinbago Knight Riders. Simmons has scored 2629 runs at an average of 31.67 and a strike rate of 119.71. He has also scored 20 half-centuries along with 11 ducks in the CPL.
