5. Tom Latham – 2 Double Hundreds
One of the best modern-day wicketkeepers, Tom Latham, is climbing up the ladder. He has also captained New Zealand across formats in a few games. Latham is one of the mainstays of the Kiwi batting order. So far, he has played 74 tests and scored 5150 runs at an average of 41.53 and a best of 264 not out. Latham has scored 13 centuries, including two double centuries and 27 fifties.
4. Ross Taylor – 3 Double Hundreds
Ross Taylor was one of the most underrated players in modern-day cricket and played under the shadow of other big names. But his numbers are pretty brilliant, and he quietly did his job. Taylor retired in 2022 with 112 Tests and scored 7683 runs at an average of 44.66. He scored 19 centuries, including three double hundreds and a best of 290.
3. Stephen Fleming – 3 Double Hundreds
Stephen Fleming was the most-capped test captain for New Zealand. He was a brilliant leader and batter for his side. Fleming played 111 tests between 1994 and 2008 and scored 7172 runs at an average of 40.06 and a best of 274 not out. He scored nine centuries, and three of them were double hundreds with 46 half-centuries. Fleming is the coach of the CSK in the IPL.
2. Brendon McCullum – 4 Double Hundreds
Brendon McCullum holds the record for the highest individual score by a Kiwi batter in test cricket. He was more of an entertainer who played with an aggressive batting approach. McCullum featured in 101 tests in his 14-year-long career and scored 6453 runs at a batting average of 38.64, with a best of 302. He also scored 12 centuries, and four of those were double hundreds, with 31 half-centuries.

Kane Williamson is a modern-day great and among the best technical batters in the modern era. He has broken almost all the batting records for his country and has the most test runs and centuries for New Zealand. Williamson has played 94 tests and scored 8124 runs at an excellent average of 54.89, with a best of 251. He has scored 28 centuries so far, including six double centuries.
