5. Kevin Pietersen – 3 Double Hundreds

There are three batters with seven double centuries in test cricket. But the first one was the English legend Wally Hammond. He was a brilliant all-rounder who was as good as Don Bradman. Hammond played 85 tests in his career between 1927 and 1947 and scored 7249 runs at an average of 58.45. He slammed 22 centuries, including seven double tons, with a best of 336 not out. Hammond also took 85 wickets with the ball.
