1. Afghanistan (12 Consecutive Wins)
Afghanistan tops the chart on the list of winning most consecutive T20 games won. However, there are three teams with the same number of wins. But because Afghanistan was the first, they are leading the list. From 2018 to 2019, the Afghan team won 12 consecutive matches. In this period, they won five matches against Ireland, four against Bangladesh and three against Zimbabwe.
2. Romania (12 consecutive wins)
Surprisingly, the second team on the list is a non-test playing nation, Romania. They are also the second on the list with 12 consecutive wins in t20 cricket. Romania is a member of the associate nations that won these matches between October 2020 and September 2031. They won four against Bulgaria, two against Serbia and one each against Greece, Malta, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
3. India (12* consecutive wins)
Since the arrival of Rohit Sharma, the record of Indian cricket has been phenomenal. Under the leadership of Rohit, India are yet to lose a game across the format. During this period, they have also won the most consecutive T20 games. India is now equal with both Afghanistan and Romania with 12 consecutive wins. Notably, the Men in Blue are yet to lose a game in T20 cricket after the last T20 World Cup in the UAE.
In this period, they have won three each against the West Indies, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. They have also won one each against Afghanistan, Scotland, and Namibia. India are playing a T20 match against South Africa which is underway, and if the Men in Blue succeed in winning that match, they will become the only team to win the 14 T20I matches.
