5. Brain Lara – 5 centuries in 8 games
The man who is known for scoring big centuries makes this list at No. 5. Brain Lara has scored the joint-fourth most test centuries against Sri Lanka. He played just eight games and scored 1125 runs at an at-bat average of 86.53 with a double century (221). Lara also scored five hundreds and two half-centuries. The left-hander holds the record for the highest individual score of 400 not out in any form of international cricket.
4. Michael Hussey – 5 centuries in 8 games
Known as “Mr. Cricket,” Michael Hussey was another player who liked playing against Sri Lanka. Although he was a brilliant white-ball finisher for Australia, his test numbers are also good. He scored 19 test centuries, including five against Sri Lanka. Hussey played just eight games against them and scored five hundreds and two half centuries. That was not all; he also scored 994 runs at an incredible average of 110.44.
3. Azhar Ali – 6 centuries in 17 games
Former Pakistan middle-order batter Azhar Ali was one of the few Pakistani batters who scored a triple century in the longest format of the game. Azhar made 19 hundreds in his international career, and out of those, six came against the Islanders. He played 17 games and scored 1319 runs, with his best being 157. Azhar scored six centuries and five half-centuries as well.
2. Younis Khan – 8 centuries in 29 games
The man who scored the most international centuries (41) for Pakistan is second on this list. Younus Khan was certainly a consistent performer for his country, scoring runs in tough situations. He also led Pakistan and set the record for the highest test score as a Pakistani captain (313). Younus played 29 games against Sri Lanka and scored 2286 runs with 8 centuries and six half-centuries, and his best came (313) against Sri Lanka only.

Sachin Tendulkar needs no introduction to the game of cricket. He is the only player with 100 hundreds in international cricket, with over 33,000 runs as well. He scored heavy runs against every team and centuries as well. Sachin plays Muralidharan brilliant and scored most centuries against them. Sachin was part of 25 games against Sri Lanka and scored 1995 runs at 60.45, along with 9 centuries and six half-centuries.
