Former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming is fifth on this list. He was a brilliant leader in his era and has led New Zealand in the most international games. The left-hander was rock solid at the top for his country across formats. He played 279 matches (most for his country) in his career and scored 8007 runs at 32.41. He also scored 8 centuries and 49 half-centuries in his ODI career.
4. Kane Williamson – 13 Centuries in 160 games
Kane Williamson is among the best batters in the modern era, and his consistency in all three formats is world-renowned. He has taken New Zealand cricket to new heights since his debut in 2010. Williamson has played 160 ODIs so far and scored 6501 runs at a brilliant average of 47.80. He has also scored 13 centuries and 41 half-centuries, with a best of 148.
3. Nathan Astle – 16 Centuries in 223 games
Former New Zealand opener Nathan Astle was the perfect partner of Fleming between 1995 to 2005. He was more than useful pace bowler for his team as well. Astle made his ODI debut in January 1995 and played for 12 years. In his career, he played 223 ODI games and scored 7090 runs at an average of 34.92. He also scored 16 centuries and 41 half-centuries. With the bowl he took 99 wickets. Astle had nine nervous 90s, which is the most for a New Zealander.
2. Martin Guptill – 18 Centuries in 198 ODI games
Another New Zealand opener is on this list, and this time it is Martin Guptill. The right-hander has been a dasher at the top who can won them a numerous match single-handedly. The impact of Guptill is huge, as he is the only New Zealander who has scored an ODI double century for his country. Guptill has played 198 ODIs and scored 7346 runs at 41.33. He has also scored 18 centuries and 39 half-centuries, with a best of 237 not out.

Ross Taylor is the leading run-scorer for his country in international cricket. He is also the only New Zealander to play over 100 games in all three formats. Taylor was the backbone of the batting lineup for his country across all formats. Especially, in ODIs, he is the leading run-scorer for New Zealand. Taylor played 236 ODIs in his career and scored 8607 runs at an average of 47.55. He made 21 centuries and 51 half-centuries in 50-over cricket as well.
