But there are some batters who have always liked the bowling attack of the 1996 ODI World Cup winner. This article will show the list of batters with the most ODI centuries against Pakistan.
Former Sri Lanka opener Sanath Jayasuriya has played the most ODI games (82) against Pakistan. But he is not at the top. The top three names on the list belong to former cricketers. In 50-over cricket, however, no player has scored more than five centuries against Pakistan.

5. David Warner – 3 centuries in 13 games
Veteran Australian opener David Warner has hit the joint-third most centuries against Pakistan. Warner’s highest score of 335 not out also came against the Men in Green, and he has always enjoyed batting against them. The left-hander has played 13 ODIs against them and scored 676 runs at 52, including three centuries and one fifty. Just like his best in Test cricket, Warner’s ODI best of 179 also came against Pakistan.
4. Jos Buttler – 3 centuries in 14 games
Another modern-day batter who has always enjoyed batting against Pakistan is Jos Buttler. The wicketkeeper-batter has some unbelievable numbers against the Men in Green. Everyone is aware of the aggressive batting of Buttler, but against Pakistan, it is on a whole different level. Buttler has played 14 games against them and scored 522 runs at a brilliant average of 65.25 and a staggering strike rate of 150.86, including three centuries and two fifties.
3. Desmond Haynes – 4 centuries in 65 games
The man who registered the highest ODI score (148) on his debut is third on the list. Former West Indian star Desmond Haynes scored the second-most centuries against Pakistan in the 50-over format. He played a total of 65 games against the Men in Green and scored 2390 runs. Haynes also scored four centuries and 18 half-centuries (the joint-second most against Pakistan), including the high score of 142 not out.
2. Sachin Tendulkar – 5 centuries in 69 games
The legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar has scored the joint-most hundreds against archrival Pakistan. There was a time when India and Pakistan used to play regular cricket in bilateral series, and Sachin was part of many series wins for India against the neighbours. He played 69 games in his career and scored 2526 runs (mostly against Pakistan), including five centuries and 16 half-centuries. His best score was 141.

Another legendary batter makes the list, and this time it is Brain Lara with the joint-most centuries against Pakistan. Lara scored runs against all opponents. He scored 19 ODI centuries in his career, and five of them came against the Men in Green. Lara played 48 games against them and scored 1771 runs at 43.19. He also scored five centuries and six half-centuries against them. His highest score against Pakistan was 156.
