Morrisville Samp Army: There have been a number of T20 leagues which are taking place around the world right now. Each league provides a unique environment and level of competition. However, one league, which was inaugurated on a totally different basis, took the game to another level. It is the T10 league in the UAE. The Abu Dhabi T10 league was formed with the scenario of a 10-over game in 2017.
And so far, it has completed its five seasons successfully. However, the next season of the league has also been announced and it will take place between November 23 and December 4, with a total of 34 games. There are a total of eight teams in the upcoming tournament. The defending champions, Deccan Gladiators, will defend their titles in the upcoming season. Notably, two new teams have joined the competition, so it will be an eight-team affair now.

The two new teams in the competition will make the tournament more interesting and exciting. One of the two new teams is Morrisville Samp Army, which is owned by a businessman, Ritesh Patel. This team will make their debut in the upcoming season and will want to make it big. For the debut season, Samp Army has named Lance Klusener as their head coach but hasn’t revealed any captain. But they have picked David Miller as their “icon” player. Overall, the franchise has picked 16 players, with a mix of young and experienced players.

The franchise has picked some big names in the recently concluded player draft on September 26 (Monday). David Miller has been picked in the category of “icon” player. Apart from him, some big names like Moeen Ali, Shimron Hetmyer, and Johnson Charles will make the batting order stronger and will add firepower. Speaking of the bowling department, Anrich Nortje, Chamika Karunaratne, Sheldon Cottrell, and Karim Janat are some really good options that the franchise has gone for.
