Earlier known as Rising Pune Super Giants, which was founded in the year 2015 along with the Gujarat Lions, as a replacement for CSK and RR, the team also got dissolved in 2017. Now the team is reformed as Lucknow Super Giants after its last match in 2017.
The Lucknow Super Giants, abbreviated as LSG is going to play its match in the IPL Cricket in the coming 2022 season. It makes its first appearance in IPL 2022. The LSG is founded in 2021. The ownership of the team lies with the RPSG (Rising Pune Super Giants) Group.
The team is going to be led by the captain KL Rahul and will be directed by the famous Coach Andy Flower. The Chief Executor of the team is Raghu Iyer. It belongs to the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It plays its home matches in its home ground BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium.
The team members and the team are successful now. And the team is all set to give its first appearance in the upcoming season 2022. The new logo of the company is shaped like a bird with a bat and ball in the middle and wings representing the Indian National Flag.
Lucknow Super Giants are another new team that are been launched in 2022 IPL along with Gujarat Titans. The team is looking positive towards their decision on what they want. As the team is new, we do not have any statistics on their wins and losses. But we hope that in this new season of Indian Premier League, the team sets their goal to reach the top chosen teams.
