Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, KL Rahul is one of the modern-day stars from India who has done well across all three formats. In fact, he is the only Indian wicketkeeper to score a hundred in all three formats of the game. Rahul made his international debut in December 2014 against Australia in Melbourne, when the Indians were down and out.
But his breakthrough season came when he performed consistently in the Indian Premier League. Rahul made his debut as a pure batter for India because India had the likes of MS Dhoni, and then Rishabh Pant took over. But it didn’t stop Rahul from doing well in the limited chances he had in the early stages of his career.
India always has good opening options, and it wasn’t easy to make a place at the top. Rahul has now become one of the key players for India in all three formats, and India relies on him to some extent. He has been one of the best when it comes to consistency. He also holds some amazing records as a batter in his career, and there are more to come.
KL Rahul Centuries in Test

Rahul has scored 7 centuries so far, with a best of 199 against England in Chennai.
