Then, they also won the 2009 T20 World Cup under Younis Khan and the 2017 Champions Trophy under Sarfaraz Ahmed.
4. England – 3 ICC Trophies
The team that started the game hasn’t been able to be the world champions on many occasions. In fact, England has just won three ICC tournaments in its long history. They won their maiden ICC title in 2010, when Paul Collingwood led them to T20 World Cup success. England won the 2019 ODI World Cup under Eoin Morgan and the 2022 T20 World Cup under Jos Buttler.
3. West Indies – 5 ICC Trophies
West Indies were the first team to win the first ever ICC tournament in 1975, which was the World Cup. So far, they have won five major ICC events. They won the 1975 and 1979 ODI World Cups, and then they won the 2004 Champions Trophy. Apart from that, the Caribbean team has also won the T20 World Cup twice, in 2012 and 2016, both under the captaincy of Darren Sammy.

Meanwhile, India won their first ODI World Cup in 1983 under Kapil Dev. Then, they were joint winners in the 2002 Champions Trophy. And their maiden T20 World Cup win came in 2021 under Aaron Finch.
