3. West Indies (73 runs) vs Bangladesh in March 2014
The Caribbean team registered its third-biggest T20I win against Bangladesh in the 2014 T20 World Cup. It was the 20th game of the tournament in Mirpur. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat second. West Indies got off to a good start with a 97-run partnership for the opening wicket between Dwayne Smith and Chris Gayle (48). Smith was the top scorer with 72 off 43 balls, with 10 boundaries and three maximums.
With a few more small contributions, West Indies reached a par score of 171/7 in 20 overs. In the second inning, the Caribbean bowlers did a tremendous job. Bangladesh got all out under 100 and reached 98 runs in 19.1 overs. The two-time champions registered 73 runs in that game.

West Indies’ second biggest win came against Australia during the 2012 T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka. It was the second semi-final of the tournament in Colombo. They won the toss and decided to bat first in the high-profile clash. West Indies lost Johnson Charles (10) early. But then, they had some good innings from other batters. Chris Gayle was the top scorer, scoring an unbeaten 75 off 41 balls with five fours and six sixes.

1. West Indies (84 runs) vs Pakistan in April 2014
The biggest win for West Indies in the shorter format came during the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. It was the 32nd game of the tournament in Mirpur against Pakistan. After winning the toss, West Indies decided to bat. In the first inning, the Caribbean team lost their both openers for just 22 runs within four overs. But after that the rest of batting lineup made useful contributions. Lendl Simmons (31), Marlon Samuels (20), and Dwayne Bravo (46 off 26) played useful knocks.
In the end, skipper Darren Sammy made a 20-ball 42 not out to help the team reach 166/6 in 20 overs. It wasn’t a big score, but the West Indian bowlers had something different plans. Both Pakistani openers got out for ducks, and they lost all ten wickets for just 82 runs in 17.5 overs. West Indies won that game by 84 runs.
