3. Bangladesh (71 runs) vs Ireland in July 2012
Bangladesh recorded their third biggest win against Ireland in July 2012. It was the first game of the triseries against Ireland and Netherlands. This was the first game in Belfast, and Ireland won the toss and elected to field first. Tamim Iqbal gave a decent start to the team with a 31-run knock. It was followed by an excellent half-century from Shakib Al Hasan. The all-rounder scored a 33-ball 57 with nine fours.
Mahmudullah scored 23 off 15, and Ziaur Rahman played a cameo of 40 off 17 balls. As a result, Bangladesh reached a total of 190/5 in the first inning. In response to a big target, Ireland lost their way and reached a score of 119/8 in 20 overs. Bangladesh won that game by 71 runs. Elias Sunny bowled a brilliant spell of 5/13 for them.
2. Bangladesh (77 runs) vs Ireland in March 2023
Bangladesh’s second Highest T20I win came most recently in March 2023, when Ireland came for a three-match T20I tour. It was the second game in Chattogram. Ireland won the toss and decided to put the hosts to bat first. The hosts got off to a positive start. Both openers registered a 124-run opening stand in just 9.2 overs. Rony Talukdar made 44 off 23 balls. Litton Das smashed Bangladesh’s fastest fifty off 18 balls.
He scored 83 off 41 balls, with 10 fours and three sixes. Shakib Al Hasan (38 off 24) and Towhid Hridoy (24 off 13) also played good cameos. It helped Bangladesh reach a score of 202/3 in 20 overs. But the second inning was totally opposite. Ireland reached only 125/9 in their chase and lost the game by 77 runs. Shakib picked up five wickets for 22 runs.

The biggest for Bangladesh came in the 2021 T20 World Cup in the UAE. It came in the 9th game during the first round of Group B, which was a game between Bangladesh and P.N.G. in Al Amerat. Batting first, Bangladesh posted a competitive total of 181/7 in 20 overs. Skipper Mahmudullah played a captain’s knock and scored 50 off 28 balls, with three fours and three sixes.
