In the 2nd match, South Africa got the chance to bat first and they batted very well and added 231 runs on the scoreboard, which is obviously a good total and a difficult target for the opposition. In reply, West Indies openers Dwayne Smith and Chris Gayle came out to the middle to chase the target, but they could not get a good start and lost the wicket of Smith so early.
