Highest Run Chase in T20 by Afghanistan

Afghanistan, a team that has shown a tremendous improvement in their performance in every field of cricket, is currently ranking at the number 8th position in the ICC T20 team ranking. In terms of their highest chase in T20 international, they added a record of the highest chase in T20 in the 2nd match of the 2 T20 match series in Zimbabwe.

Afghanistan visited Zimbabwe to play 2 T20 matches series in the year 2015, where they faced each other in the 2^nd T20 and Afghanistan registered the highest run chase in that match. In the 2nd match of the series, Zimbabwe got the chance to bat first and they set a target of 191 runs for Afghanistan, then Afghanistan needed a superb start which they got as their opener Usman Ghani added 65 runs from 45 balls and also made 95 runs along with Mohammad Shahzad for the 1st wicket partnership that released the pressure from the other players. The rest of the work was completed by Gulbadin Naib who made 56 runs from just 31 balls and remained not out, thus Afghanistan made 191 runs which is the highest by Afghanistan in T20.
