West Indies cricket team is one of the full members of the ICC and has won the ODI World Cup 2 times, i.e, 1975 and 1979, and is currently ranked at 9th position in the ICC ODI team ranking. West Indies played their maiden ODI against England at Headingley, Leeds; 5 September 1973. Since then, they have contested 837 ODI matches where they got the victory in 406 matches and faced defeat in 391 matches.
