3. Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim (141 runs) against England in 2015 ICC event
It was the 33rd match of the tournament between Bangladesh and England. It was one of the biggest victories for the Bangla tigers in the World Cup. After winning the toss, England chose to bowl first. Bangladesh didn’t have a great start and lost their first two wickets for just 8 runs. But after that, the other battes played with caution.
Mahmudullah (103) scored a brilliant century in that match. He, along with Mushfiqur Rahim (89), added 141 runs for the 5th wicket to help their team reach 275/7 in their first innings. England started well but lost their way in the middle. As a result, they were bowled out for 260 runs, handing a memorable win by 15 runs to Bangladesh.
2. Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim (142 runs) against South Africa in 2019 ICC event
The second highest partnership came in a match against South Africa in the 2019 World Cup. Batting first, Bangladesh scored one of the highest ODI scores. They made 330/6 runs in 50 overs. Shakib al Hasan scored 75 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim also scored 75 runs. Both batsmen added 142 runs for the 3rd wicket to help their team reach a big total.
Chasing the target, South Africa started in an aggressive manner, and their top six batters got a good start. But in the end, it was too big for them to chase and they fell short by 21 runs in the end and could only manage 309/8. Shakib won the “Man of the Match” award.

The biggest partnership for Bangladesh came in the last World Cup in a match against West Indies. After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to bowl first. West Indies scored a big total of 321/8 in their 50 overs. Shai Hope scored 96, Evin Lewis scored 70 and Shimron Hetmyer 50 runs off 26 balls.
It was a big score for the chase, but Bangladesh had something different plans on that day. With a big century from Shakib al Hasan, Bangladesh chased down their biggest target in the World Cup and won the match by 7 wickets. Shakib scored an unbeaten 124* off 99 runs, and Litton Das scored 94 off 69 balls. Both batters added 189* runs for the 4th wicket to seal the deal for their team.
