5. Virat Kohli – 136 vs Bangladesh in 2014

Virat Kohli has scored three centuries in the ODI Asia Cup. One of his hundred came against Bangladesh in Fatullah during the 2014 edition. Batting first, Bangladesh posted a tough score of 279/7, with skipper Mushfiqur Rahim scoring 114. India also started with a 50-run stand, but then Virat showed why the world calls him the chasemaster. He smashed 136 off 122, with 16 fours and two sixes. India made 280/4 and won by six wickets.

4. Shoaib Malik – 143 vs India in 2004

The fourth-highest score came in a game between India and Pakistan in Colombo during the 2004 edition. It came in the first inning. Batting first, Pakistan made a big total of 300/9. Shoaib Malik scored a brilliant ton and made 143 off 127 balls, with 18 fours and one six. Chasing the target, India didn’t have a big innings from anyone and managed 241/8. Malik also took 2/42, and Pakistan won by 59 runs.

3. Mushfiqur Rahim – 144 vs Sri Lanka in 2018

Mushfiqur Rahim scored the third-highest score in the Asia Cup 2018 against Sri Lanka in Dubai. It was a big win for Bangladesh. Batting first, Bangladesh got all out for 261 runs in 49.3 overs. Mushfiqur added 133 runs with Mohammad Mithun (63 off 68) for the third wicket. Mushfiqur went on to score 144 off 150, with 11 fours and four sixes. That proved to be the winning total, as Bangladesh dismissed Sri Lanka for just 124 runs in 35.4 overs to win by 137 runs.

2. Younis Khan – 144 vs Hong Kong in 2004

Younis Khan scored his career-best ODI score during the 2004 Asia Cup against Hong Kong in Colombo. It was the fifth game, and Pakistan posted a massive score of 343/5 in the first inning. Younis added a 223-run stand for the third wicket with Shoaib Malik, who also scored 118 runs. Younis made 144 off 122, with eight fours and three sixes. In reply, Hong Kong got dismissed for 165 runs and lost the game by 173 runs (D/L method).

1. Virat Kohli – 183 vs Pakistan in 2012

The highest individual score in the Asia Cup belongs to the one and only Virat Kohli. It is also his career-best ODI score, which came in a chase against Pakistan in the 2012 Asia Cup. This was the innings that helped Virat become a chasemaster. It was the fifth game, and Pakistan posted a massive 329/6. Both openers, Mohammad Hafeez (105), Nasir Jamshed (112), scored centuries. In reply, India lost Gautam Gambhit for a two-ball duck, which brought Virat to the crease. He added 133 runs for the second wicket with Sachin Tendulkar (52) and another 172 runs for the third wicket with Rohit Sharma (68). But Virat was at his best. He slammed 183 off 148 balls, with 22 fours and one six, and India made 330/4 in 47.5 overs to win the game.
