The team Gujarat Lions had played 2 seasons of IPL in 2016 and 2017. The team was earlier owned by Intex technologies. The Gujarat lions was dissolved in the year 2017.
After that in 2021, the team reformed once again, with the new logo and new name as Gujarat Titans. The team is going to play its first appearance in IPL 2022. The team is owned by the CVC Capitals Partners. As per research, the team is going to be led by Captain Hardik Pandya and going to experience the direction of the coach Ashish Nehra.
This team plays its home matches in its home ground that is Narendra Modi Stadium located in Ahmedabad.
After a long break, the team is making its first appearance in the coming IPL season, which is a 10 team-based League.
