GT: Gujarat Titans made history when they won the TATA IPL 2022 and became the second team ever to win the IPL title in their maiden season. Hardik Pandya led the team brilliantly, and they topped the group stage. 5. Mohammed Shami – INR 6.25 Crore
Veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami played a key role in GT lifting the IPL trophy in 2022. He was giving his team breakthroughs upfront for them. The franchise signed Shami for a price of INR 6.25 crore, and he is their fifth-costliest player in the IPL 2023. Shami played all 16 games and took 20 wickets at an economy rate of 8. The veteran pacer will play a vital role for Gujarat in the coming season.
4. Shubman Gill – INR 7 Crore
Shubman Gill has been part of the IPL since 2018, but his best performance came in 2022 while playing for the Gujarat Titans. In 2022, the franchise paid INR 7 crore for the young opener, and Gill completely repaid his faith. He was the second-highest run-getter for the franchise and played an important inning in the final to win them the game. Gill scored 483 runs in 16 games in 2022 at an average of 34.50 and a strike rate of 132.33, including four half-centuries.
3. Rahul Tewatia – INR 9 Crore
Rahul Tewatia is a really good batting all-rounder who can hit the ball really hard. That’s what he showed last season when he struck two back-to-back sixes off the last two balls against PBKS pacer Odean Smith to win the game for GT. He did the finishing job pretty well for Gujarat and also gave them the right finish. He is the third-most expensive player for them, charging INR 9 crore in the 2023 edition. Tewatia scored 217 runs in 12 innings at a strike rate of 147.62.
2. Rashid Khan – INR 15 Crore
Rashid Khan is among the highest-paid cricketers in the Indian Premier League in the past few seasons. The star leg-spinner joined the Gujarat Titans for a price of INR 15 crore and is their second-costliest player. He is also the vice captain of the team and played an important role in GT’s IPL win. Rashid played 16 games in 2022 and took 19 wickets at an excellent economy rate of 6.60 and played some good cameos down the order at a brilliant strike rate of 206.82.

Hardik Pandya, the GT captain, was the franchise’s standout performer in the 2022 season. And it will not be wrong to say that he is deservedly the most expensive player for the Gujarat Titans in the coming season. Hardik is taking a fee of INR 16 crore for IPL 2023. He was at his best in TATA IPL 2022. In 16 games, he scored 487 runs at an average of 44.27 with four half-centuries. He also took 8 wickets at an economy rate of 7.28.
