Speaking of the FIFA World Cup, the prize which they offer to the team is unexpected for a cricket fan. The winner of that year’s football WC gets a whopping amount of USD 42 million, which comes to around INR 342 crore.
It is 26 times the amount received in the cricket world cup. Qatar will host the upcoming FIFA World Cup later this year, and the prize money for the event has been announced. A total of USD 440 million (INR 3585 crore) will be distributed at the event. The winners get USD 42 million (INR 342 crore). Moreover, it is four million more than the last FIFA World Cup in 2018.
