David Warner smashed the fifth-fastest test ton for Australia. He scored an 82-ball century against the West Indies in January 2016 at Sydney Cricket Ground. West Indies scored 330 runs in the first inning. In reply, Australia was at 176/2 when the game ended in a draw. Warner made 122 not out in that game.
4. David Warner (78 balls) vs Pakistan in 2017
David Warner also holds the record for the fourth-fastest test century for his country. He slammed a 78-ball century against Pakistan in January 2017 in Sydney. Australia won that game by 220 runs. Former Australian legend Adam Gilchrist holds the record for the fastest test century for his country. It came in 2006 against England in Perth, when he scored a 57-ball century in Australia’s second inning and made 102 not out. Australia made 244 and 527/4d in two innings and dismissed England for 215 and 350 runs to win the match by 206 runs.
