5. Soumya Sarkar (81 balls) vs Zimbabwe in 2018
Veteran Bangladesh star Soumya Sarkar struck the fifth fastest ODI ton for his country. It came on October 26, 2018 in Chattogram against Zimbabwe. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 286/5 in their first inning. In reply, Bangladesh lost Litton Das on the very first ball. But after that, Sarkar and Imrul Kayes (115 off 112) added 220 runs for the second wicket. Bangladesh made 288/3 in 42.1 and won. Sarkar scored an 81-ball hundred and made 117 off 92, with nine fours and six sixes.
4. Mushfiqur Rahim (69 balls) vs Pakistan in 2015
Veteran wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim scored the fourth-fastest ODI ton for Bangladesh. He made it against Pakistan on April 17, 2015, in Mirpur. It was the first ODI of a three-match series. Bangladesh batted first and posted a big score of 329/6. Tamim Iqbal (132) gave them a good start with a century. In the end, Mushfiqur scored a quick century off 69 balls. He scored 106 off 77, with 13 fours and two sixes. In reply, Pakistan got bowled out for 250 runs and lost by 79 runs.

After almost 14 years, Mushfiqur Rahim broke Shakib’s 63-ball record. He did it against Ireland in Sylhet on March 20, 2023. It was the second game of the three-match series.
