5. David Warner – 94 innings
Veteran Australian opener David Warner made his IPL debut in 2009 for the Delhi Capitals and played until 2013. He scored 2000 IPL runs in his 94th IPL inning. Warner also played for SRH from 2014 to 2021 and led them to their 2016 IPL win. He has scored 6211 runs in 172 games, including four centuries and 59 half-centuries.
4. Faf du Plessis – 94 innings
Faf du Plessis is another consistent batter who is always among the highest run-scorers in almost every season. The former South African captain is currently leading RCB in the tournament. He made his debut in 2011 for CSK and played until 2021 (player for Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016 and 2017). He also took 94 innings to complete 3,000 IPL runs in his career. So far, Du Plessis has scored 3914 runs in 126 games, including 30 half-centuries.
3. Jos Buttler – 85 innings
The Orange Cap holder of the 2021 season, Jos Buttler, recently completed 3000 runs in his IPL career in the 2023 edition. Buttler made his IPL debut in 2016 and played two seasons for MI. He joined RR in 2018, and since then, he has been an integral part of the RR setup. Buttler took 85 innings to complete 3,000 IPL runs. Until now, he has scored 3223 runs in 92 innings, including five centuries and 19 half-centuries.
2. KL Rahul – 80 innings
KL Rahul is another prominent name in the IPL. One of the main features of his batting is consistency. The Indian star is a run-machine in this tournament. Rahul has been part of the league since 2013 and has played for RCB, SRH, PBKS, and LSG, respectively. It took him 80 innings to complete this landmark. Overall, he has scored 4163 runs in 118 games at 46.78 and 134.72.
